Machine Focus: LDM®-MED
About The Machine:
LDM®-MED (Germany) is based on dual-frequency ultrasound waves and is able to modulate dynamic processes of production and destruction within connective tissue which is of primary importance in different applications and has been clinically proven to be stable in treating a variety of skin conditions. It reduces matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) which contribute to collagen breakdown and inhibits collagen formation, while also activating heat shock proteins (HSPs) which promote collagen synthesis in the skin and increasing glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which support and maintain the skin’s structural proteins such as collagen and elastin.
LDM® is widely used in many dermatological, medical aesthetics and plastic surgery clinics and practices all over the world. LDM®-MED treatments can be combined with non and minimally-invasive medical aesthetics treatments such as radio frequency treatments, thread lifts, and filler injections, as well as surgical procedures such as liposuction. When applied before an injectable or after a laser treatment, it reduces downtime by reducing inflammation, facilitating the healing process and increasing skin immunity, and the amount of hyaluronic acid in the cell to increase skin moisture and hydration. Patients can see improvements after only one to two sessions.
